Truck Driver / Operator - Class 4 or 5

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 4 or 5 Truck Operators to support our civil construction projects. This operator will also be required to cart materials into forestry operations, playing a vital role in our diverse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 4 road ranger truck experience
• Offroad experience
• Operate Class 5 trucks to transport construction materials and equipment to various sites, including forestry operations.
• Operate Class 4 Concrete trucks
• Operate Class 4 Hydrovac Trucks
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Clean and grease the vehicle as part of routine maintenance.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction and forestry sites.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle usage.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Valid Class 4 or 5 driver’s license with experience.
• Experience in truck & trailer driving, preferably with spreading capabilities, and experience within the forestry sector.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to transportation and construction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities safely.
