Experienced Crop Farmer / All-Rounder

We are seeking a capable and motivated all-round crop farmer to join our team. We are based in Kelso just a ten-minute drive from Tapanui or 25 minutes to Gore

Our farming operation consists of four well-maintained blocks totaling 363 hectares, and we are looking for someone confident in grain crop farming who takes pride in maintaining clean, tidy, and productive farms.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can:

• Operate tractors and modern farm machinery confidently
• Work independently and manage their time effectively
• Work alongside others when required
• Assist with spraying and weed control
• Carry out general farm maintenance
• Repair and maintain fencing
• Contribute to keeping the property well presented

During busy periods, you will also assist our contracting business during silage season, so flexibility is important.

Skills & Experience

• Required Proven experience in grain crop farming
• Tractor and machinery operation experience
• Good practical knowledge of ground preparation and crop care
• Mechanically minded with the ability to maintain equipment
• Self-motivated and reliable
