Nurse Practitioner
Nurse Practitioner – 1.0FTE (negotiable) – permanent
Mō te tūranga | About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care / Endorsed Prescriber) to join our team. Based in our well-equipped rural General Practice and Urgent Care facility, this role offers outstanding clinical variety and the opportunity to work at the top of your scope. Ideally you would work 8 to 10 sessions per week (negotiable) while enjoying a healthy work-life balance, something we consider essential.
You will work across the full spectrum of primary care, managing your own enrolled patient population while also participating in rostered shifts within our Medical Assessment Unit, providing urgent and acute care services. Experience in an acute care setting would therefore be advantageous.
We actively support and encourage the development of subspecialty interests. Current specialty clinics include fracture management, minor surgery, and joint injection services, with opportunities to further expand and develop areas of clinical expertise.
To support your ongoing professional growth, we provide fortnightly protected time for Continuing Medical Education (CME), peer review sessions, and multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring strong clinical support and opportunities for collaboration.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Please refer to the Position Description for further information regarding the key attributes, competencies, and skills required.
If this sounds like the opportunity you've been looking for, we would love to hear from you!
