Balclutha New World is looking for an energetic, reliable, and cheerful person to join our Grocery and Storeroom Team.

This full-time role combines Duty Manager and Store person responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, customer service, and hands-on work.

What you’ll be doing

·         Receiving, checking, and storing stock.

·         Managing the flow of stock to departments throughout the store.

·         Leading the store team and overseeing daily operations when rostered as Duty Manager.

·         Providing excellent customer service to customers, suppliers, and delivery drivers.

·         Maintaining high standards of safety, presentation, and productivity.

·         Completing receiving and stock control paperwork accurately and efficiently.

We would love to hear from you if you:

·         Hold a current Forklift Licence.

·         Can drive a manual vehicle.

·         Have previous supermarket, retail, or storeroom experience.

·         Are reliable, honest, and hardworking.

·         Have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.

·         Take pride in doing a job well.

The Details:

·         Full-time position (40 hours per week).

·         Sunday to Thursday roster.

·         Start date: As soon as we find the right superstar!
