Contract Supervisor

Do you enjoy working with contractors and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes? We are looking for a motivated Contract Supervisor to join our Roading team.

In this role, you will:

·         Assist in fault identification, programming, auditing and quality control of Councils infrastructure maintenance.

·         Monitor minor capital works including overseeing contractor performance and expenditure monitoring to ensure work meets agreed standards and timeframes.

·         Cover work areas including roading, signage and streetlighting maintenance.

·         Conduct onsite inspections, monitor compliance with health and safety requirements.

·         Be responsible for ensuring contract documentation, reports and records are up to date.

We are looking for someone who:

·         Has an NZ Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in infrastructure maintenance, particularly roading.

·         At least 3 years experience in infrastructure maintenance.

·         Can build and foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Provides a strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
